A big Irish piping festival in a little Welsh village

Join us for 3-days of traditional Irish and Welsh music and song in the historic seaside village of Ferryside (Glan-y-Fferi) in South West Wales.

Concert Tickets - £10/£8 concessions

Tickets for the Saturday night concert can be purchased indivually at the door or in advance by contacting us.  We strongly advise purchasing tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

Concert admission is included as part of  weekend registration package. 

The Eddie and Gina Brophy Scholarship 

The Scholarship is awarded to a young musician to support their attendance at Gŵyl Uilleann Glanyfferi. The award includes full weekend registration plus a £100 contribution towards travel/ accommodation expenses.  The award is named for our friends Eddie and Gina, two long-standing supporters of uilleann piping in Wales. The scholarship is open to musicians aged 21 and under who play one of the instruments for which the festival provides tuition (uilleann pipes, fiddle, flute, unaccompanied singing).

The Festival takes place in venues across the village of Ferryside, Carmarthenshire, South West Wales. All venues are within easy walking distance of one another. Gŵyl Uilleann Glanyfferi is hosted by Pibyddion Uilleann Cymru, the Uilleann Pipers of Wales.  This All-Wales piping association was launched in 2022, and grew from the success of the South Wales Uilleann Pipers, which organised more than a decade of events and tionols between 2008-2021.Pibyddion Uilleann Cymru is co-chaired by Rick Lines (West Wales), Jason Rouse (South Wales) and Jon Turton (North Wales).
